It has come to my attention that a creature called Vampyroteuthis infernalis exists, its name literally meaning "Vampire Squid from Hell". I felt this fact was worthy of a blog post.

ReplyDeleteI've heard of this before in fact I think I saw this episode on t.v. Oh the many weird and wonderful creatures we have yet to discover... my favorite is the blue ringed octopus from native to Australia. It's the cutest little octopus fits in your palm of you hand but unfortunately if you touch one even a bit... it's poison would most likely kill you in a matter of minutes... <3 weird animals!!
